Carbon Champion Award
This award recognises businesses who reduce energy and emissions by adapting the way they operate, lowering their carbon footprint.

Community Impact Award
This award recognises local communities working together. We want to hear about positive neighbourhood improvement projects, communities making the best use of green space, neighbours working together to make their neighbourhoods a safer and healthier place to live. Tell us about your community projects and how you have helped to connect with your environment to make something positive happen where you live.
This award recognises an individual or a group who deserves recognition for their environmental work. They may be an unsung community hero, a business person, maybe a group of special volunteers. Whatever their background or age, if you know someone that is a true inspiration to others tell us about them.
Environmental Youth Award
This award is for a team or an individual young person aged 18 or under. We want to hear about budding Young environmentalists from across Merseyside who are getting involved in green projects or helping to encourage a healthy lifestyle. We encourage nominations for young people who inspire and raise awareness for environmental action through activities and clubs in their communities as volunteers.
Green Business of the Year
This award is for businesses established for more than two years.If your business that has the environment or well-being at the centre of its operations then we want to hear from you! Judges will be looking for evidence of innovation, investment in new technologies as well as excellent staff engagement and the impact of the business within the community and environment.
Healthy Living Award
This award recognises projects that take notice of the environment and use it to improve the health and well-being of the people in our community. Perhaps your project has encouraged healthy eating or maybe introduced sport and exercise to others. Tell us about the work you are doing to encourage a healthy environment, body and mind.
New Green Business of the Year
This category is open to new businesses that began trading after January 1st 2020. (operating for less than 2 years).

The Circular Economy Award
This award is open to all organisations taking or developing a ‘circular economy’ approach to the delivery of their organisation or project. The winning entry of this award will demonstrate how it implements a circular approach to material flows and you should provide evidence of the organisation or project’s commitment to reducing carbon and addressing climate emergency through resource efficacy. Emphasis will be on social value created through the use of circular practises for example, supporting biodiversity, reducing water usage, using local suppliers, creating green jobs, providing training and education, working with academia, etc
